We’re launching our very own ethical AI charter!

With the Global AI Summit in Paris setting the stage, it felt like the right moment to make our stance official. Especially when you see how differently some leading nations are approaching AI regulation (not pointing fingers, but you know who I mean !). At ROBERTSON ASSOCIATES, we’re putting our ethical commitments in writing—on our website, in our Service Proposals, and in the way we work, every day.
What do we say in practice?
Why an AI charter matters
Artificial intelligence can amplify our recruiting expertise, but it also introduces new responsibilities. By codifying our ethical commitments, we create clear expectations for everyone who interacts with our AI‑driven tools.
Core principles of our charter
- Transparency & Explainability — AI never works behind a curtain. Candidates, clients, and employees are always informed when AI assists a decision, ensuring there are no hidden “black boxes.”
- Privacy & Data protection — Personal data is treated with the highest security standards and strict adherence to GDPR. Every piece of information is safeguarded throughout its lifecycle.
- Non‑discrimination & Fairness — Bias can creep into algorithms. We continuously test, refine, and monitor our AI solutions to guarantee that diversity is reinforced, not eroded.
- Human oversight & Accountability — AI serves as a powerful aide, but ultimate judgment remains firmly in human hands. Our recruiters retain full decision‑making authority.
- Security & Robustness — We work only with AI providers who meet the highest cybersecurity and compliance standards (Microsoft, OpenAI, Mistral, Gemini). Regular testing keeps our systems reliable and resilient. We do not trust Deepseek enough.
AI as a complement, not a replacement
AI enhances our work and improves the way we talk about you. But in Executive Search, it will never replace the art of recognizing leadership potential.
Ongoing commitment
Our charter isn’t static. We’ll keep assessing its impact, adapting to regulations, and making sure our use of AI remains fair, transparent, and—above all—human-led.
Because when we say ethics, we mean it! 😊
